Volunteering – Animal Care

Participating in a volunteering project in Canada is a wonderful way to practice English while living a rewarding and unforgettable experience.


Volunteering in Canada gives you a unique opportunity to practice English in an intensive, challenging and rewarding environment.

To participate in the Animal Care program you must love animals and be compassionate, caring and concerned about animal welfare. For some placements experience with companion animals may be required. Most of the volunteers are placed within Animal Protection Societies, Humane Societies or Animal shelters. Activities vary according to the organization’s needs and policy and may consist in cleaning and general maintenance, feeding, cat cuddling, dog walking, etc.

Program Includes Program does NOT include
Volunteer placement in an organization Personal spending money
Minimum 2-week placement with a qualified host, in private room and full board Transportation to and from Canada
Orientation on the first day
Certificate on completion
 Airport transfers
Flexible start dates throughout the year
