February 2008 WIN A TRIP TO FRANCE OR SPAIN!
If you are a Canadian high school student and you and your family host a student this July or August for Red Leaf, your name will be entered in a draw for a 2-week Homestay program in July or August, 2009 in France or Spain. Red Leaf is the original homestay company bringing teenage students to host families across Canada. We are committed to offering travel opportunities to Canadian teens by offering a scholarship to one teen whose family hosts for us. Most of our students attend classes or other activities Monday to Friday mornings and have afternoon activities provided for them. They spend evenings and weekends with their host families. A few of the French students are not involved in any classes or activities and thus require families where an adult will be at home all the time.
Requirements:
· Must be age 14 to 17 by July 1, 2008
· Host a student from Red Leaf in July or August 2008
· Write a 300-word composition on your experience and submit to your Local Coordinator by August 31, 2008
The winner will be chosen by a draw at Red Leaf’s head office on September 30, 2008.
A 2-week trip to a homestay program offered by The Learning Traveller* will be awarded. The trip must be taken by the winning student aged 15 to 18 during the summer of 2009. Economy airfare included. No substitutions are allowed.
