First of all, Christmas in Canada is very similar to the one celebrated in United States. However, in some areas of the country is celebrated a huge winter fest called Sinck Tunck. Skimoes dance and sing old songs during the celebration.

They also celebrate this fest with belsnicklers, or mummers, that toll their bells really loud and ask for Christmas candies at every house. – In Quebec they decorate their houses with the nativity scene. After going to the midnight mass they come back to their homes and eat pork pie, boulettes (small meatballs) during the reveillon (Christmas banquet).

– The classic Christmas dinner in Canada is the roasted turkey with veggies and sauces. The dessert is a fruit pudding with brandy sauce. Also cakes with dried fruits are very popular.
